A donor is generally a person or organization which donates something voluntarily. Donations are charitable in nature and purely benefit the organization at hand.
Partners
A partner is engaged with an organization on a project that extends beyond financial support. A partner has a shared interest in the outcome of the organization's work and invests with their time to help support the organization.
